SISTERHOOD
The Beta Pi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at MSU is a facility of over 150 women held together by the strong bonds of sisterhood. As Theta sisters, we strive for similar goals in the world of academics, friendship, scholarship, and leadership. With numerous sisterhood events held each semester, along with social events, study hours, new members meetings, and “Kite Sis” dinners, we come together to strengthen the ties that bind our chapter.
Each semester, our traditional “Kite Sis” dinners bring together our current active members with the new members to allow the sisters to get to know all of our new Thetas. Our sisterhood events are different each semester, but can be anything from sushi lunch outings, springtime Lansing Lugnuts games, Sunday afternoon yoga sessions, or simply a Monday night spent with the girls watching The Bachelor.
In the world of academics, the Beta Pi Thetas take pride in consistently having one of the highest GPA’s on campus across the entire Greek system. We have set study hours each week, and tutoring services for girls who need extra help in a certain area. MSU Theta’s are academically strong and strive to uphold that reputation year after year.
